Rhode Island Caregivers:
Rhode Island medical marijuana caregivers must be 21 years of age or older. Primary caregivers may assist no more than 5 qualifying patients with their medical use of marijuana. The Rhode Island Medical Marijuana Program authorizes a patient with a debilitating medical condition, with a registry identification card (or its equivalent), to engage in the medical use of marijuana. Also authorizes a person to assist with the medical use of marijuana by a patient with a debilitating medical condition.
Massachusetts Caregivers:
Massachusetts marijuana clients are allowed limited amounts of Massachusetts medical marijuana for home cultivation. Individual Massachusetts marijuana clients will be permitted to designate a “personal caregiver” at least 21 years old to cultivate for them if they are unable to access a state-authorized dispensary or if they can verify “financial hardship.”
